Acton Boxborough Visual Arts

Philosophy

Philosophy: The Visual Arts are an essential part of education. Through rich and varied arts classes, students develop visual literacy skills that are unique to learning in the arts. Students practice the Studio Habits of Mind throughout the art-making process. They are encouraged to articulate and solve problems in multiple ways. Practice in the Visual Arts fosters connections and understanding among individuals and communities.
